Local
Offices
Locally,
you may have to drive to your County offices
or City Hall to learn the facts. I think its
the right thing to do and it's worth it to
have 100% better City government next year.
Ask to see the campaign contribution statements.
Then look at the candidates' records online
to be an informed voter. Anything less, is
irresponsible. Relying on the Major Media is
also irresponsible
How
Elections are rigged?
Sometimes
people think that an election is too important
to be run honestly. Therefore, elections are
rigged in many ways. The larger the election,
the more money involved and the more opportunity
for rigging occurs. But don't think that local
elections are any . Unfortunately, people tend
to pay far less attention to them. Here are
some links so you can become more wary as a
voter.

Moves to Rig Elections
Michael
Patrick Murphy Recommends registering as
an Independent in most elections. Don't
give the major parties more money and power
by your endorsement.
George
Washington warned against the formation
of political parties. Today, the dominant parties
have become corrupt. I recommend against
joining political parties. However, I
believe
that the Libertarian Party is the healthiest
option for believers in limited government.
You might also consider temporary registrations
in a party to affect the outcome of a
party primary. However, immediately after the
primary,
I recommend going back to your "independent"
status.
Your
registration in a particular party means that
you are indirectly giving
that party funding and power. This
funding and power gets more abused and misused
as the party grows. Obviously, the Democratic
and Republican Parties are proof of
that.
I
don't like soiling my reputation by calling
myself a Republican or Democrat.
I
also believe that the ills of America are
due to
the negligence
of the American people who are well
represented by their government. As honest
and disciplined
as the American people are, so goes
the government. Most of you should not simply
blame "the
other guy." Ask yourself who
sits on your city council or county
board
of supervisors.
If you don't know, then you've got
a big problem and your city or county
has a
problem.
Right
now, you probably have the best
government money can buy–and that's not a good
thing. Demand candidates that refuse
to take
the money from special interests
and businesses. Then help candidates
step
up to the plate
under that premise.
The
Internet is cheap. Most critical information
can be found
there. Today, we depend on the
major media and expensive
campaigns to inform us. Those
days
are coming to an end. It is time
for an educated
and
disciplined electorate that knows
the candidate records and where
their money
comes from.
